For the last 12 years I’ve been fortunate enough to photograph many of Norfolk’s top places to eat, drink & stay. From the famous Burnham Market hotel – The Hoste, frequented by royalty & celebrity alike, to ‘the higgledy-piggledy world of pleasure’ that is Byford’s in Holt. It’s not just hotels but also many of Norfolk’s top restaurants, pubs, guest houses and holiday lets. There are so many hidden gems that really deserve good quality photography to allow their websites & print advertising to do them justice and bring in the appreciative customers!
Below is a handful of example shots I have produced for some local businesses. The service I offer is completely flexible and custom-built to each business with a mix of interior shots, exteriors, detail shots of all unique features and if needed: food, drink & staff shots. Not forgetting some aerial photography if relevant, I am fully insured and licensed by the CAA for commercial operations with a drone and using my photography experience I can ensure the best quality images. I’m not just a guy with a drone, I’m a PHOTOGRAPHER with a drone, there is quite a difference! For more information about my aerial photography in Norfolk please see my AeroVisuals site here.
Below are a few shots from one of the recent day shoots at The Hoste, as well as the food & rooms we have tried to capture an element of the lifestyle in some of the shots, for more of my work there visit their website.
This is Part 2 of my three part round up of last year’s photography work and in this blog post I’ve picked a few (more than a few actually!) of my favourite shots from the commercial and event photography I’ve been commissioned to shoot around Norfolk.
Probably the highlight for me, due to my love of boats & the water, was being hired to photograph for Oyster Yachts, one of the world’s most respected luxury ocean yacht builders. The level of detail and quality of these boats is absolutely second to none so being able to not only see & photograph them being hand-built but then sailed by the CEO was a real honour. Being a yachting photographer has long been an ambition of mine so this is a great start and to have one of my images as the first shot on their homepage means a great deal to me.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of photographing the business of Steve Price, a cabinetmaker in Oulton near Blickling Hall (Price Cabinetmakers – currently this link goes to the old site but watch this space!). The shoot was for the new website he is having built by the talented Rob Sayles of Designory. I’ve worked with Rob on a fair few projects and really love the strength and creativity of his web design work, his clean designs work really well with my images and it helps that he’s a ruddy good bloke too!
Below are a few examples of the shots we got of Steve’s business – for my commercial photography I like to try & capture the whole business through exterior & interior wide shots, detail shots of tools of the trade & products, shot of the people behind the business (I think it’s always good to be able to put a human face to a business) and shots of the business in action….
