WHAT I DO
North Norfolk filmmaker – You want a film that is going to tell an engaging story, your story. That’s what I do, as a North Norfolk videographer I work closely with my clients to provide captivating, entertaining and informative short films.
Video is probably the fastest growing online media these days, it tells stories and conveys information faster than photos, keeps your clients interested longer and is considered a very valuable factor in Google ranking.
For my films I use a combination of cameras, angles and story-telling techniques. From epic aerial shots with the drone, to cinematic shots with the Lumix S1H & GH5, (gimbal, slider, panning shots, etc) and close-up shots of details, it’s about telling the story and creating emotions.
Using my knowledge as a photographer I use light creatively, capture interesting compositions and find that using music effectively combined with ambient sounds can create emotions and moods that photographs simply can’t touch.
My film work has taken me all over the world from The Maldives (for Swimquest) to The Maasai Mara, Kenya (for Biosphere Expeditions), I have filmed many commissions for local tourism organisations (Visit North Norfolk, The Deep History Coast, Where to go in North Norfolk), I was the official photographer/filmmaker for the UK’s first £19 million Sandscaping project.
I have made films for quarry companies, farmers, estate agents, holiday lets, hotels, golf clubs, Google street view, the RNLI, The King’s Troop, The Household Cavalry, NNDC, Norfolk Homes, Arnolds Keys, Peel Ports, Wild East, ID Systems, Bliss Hotels, Byfords, Gresham’s School, Norfolk Constabulary, Nissan, The Thursford Collection, Oyster Yachts and RG Carter Builders and much more.
My North Norfolk video work has been featured on many UK television programmes including: BBC national news (BBC 1 & BBC News channel), ITN News, Countryfile (BBC1), Songs of Praise (BBC1), The Politics Show (BBC1), Britain’s Wildest Weather 2018 & 2020 (CH4), The One Show (BBC1), The Princess Royal at 70 (ITV), Saving Lives at Sea (BBC2), Prince William – a planet for us all (ITV), Nadiya’s British Food Adventure (BBC2), BBC Breakfast (BBC1), The Hotel Inspector (CH5) and other news channels around the world.
All work is priced on a job-by-job basis but as a guide below are some of the options and prices…
• Filming – starts at £250 p/h with options for half & full days, (includes supply of the unedited footage).
