While I’m posting all these landscape shots I may as well include the shot we originally headed over to Blakeney for, it’s certainly not as good as it could have been due to the big bank of cloud which came over and obliterated the sunset but I still think it captures the mood of the saltmarsh of that evening.
Took a trip along the coast to Blakeney a couple of evenings ago with the intention of showing a photographer friend of mine our local hotspots (for landscape photos that is, not nightlife!).
Unfortunately the shots we had planned on didn’t really happen as a huge bank of cloud came over and obliterated any chance of getting a decent sunset but as we returned to the cars I fancied a quick go at the hotel as the lights were reflecting nicely in the quayside. Below is the result, it won’t win any prizes but I like it.
Spent a really enjoyable afternoon down at Cromer beach with Martin and Sarah on Friday for their pre-wedding shoot. The weather was good with some interesting sunlight to play about with and Martin & Sarah really enjoyed themselves which meant I enjoyed myself and we got some cracking shots….
For the full gallery of shots from this shoot please click here – although the gallery is password protected at the request of Martin & Sarah – if you know them you can ask them for the password, although there is a chance that this gallery may not be permanently password protected once Martin & Sarah have had a chance to see the shots and approve them.
Vickie and Scott were married at the weekend at the beautiful Elms Barn in Beccles, they had a clear October day for it with warm sunshine all day as can be seen from the photos below…
Love the shafts of sunlight streaming into the barn in the shot below…
Below, Vickie obviously found some of the best man’s revelations a bit shocking!
Vickie and Scott originally met through the FTO Owners Club, I wonder how Scott feels knowing that his wife has a faster car than his (well her’s is red so that must be worth at least 5 horse power more eh?)
Below, the lads get ‘all Goodfellas’…

Back to sunny Wells for a fun pre-wedding shoot with Caroline & Gary, it was one of those days when it’s just great to be outside so we took our time, enjoyed the beach and got a few shots too!

Over the next few days I will be updating the look of this blog to a new and greatly improved style which allows larger photos and has a few other very nice features. Apologies in advance if it looks a bit odd at times, it’s just me tinkering in the background.
Yesterday I shot Vickie and Scott’s pre-wedding shoot – tomorrow I shoot their wedding – I don’t usually leave it this close to a wedding to do a pre-wedding shoot but in this case it couldn’t be helped!
It is a slightly smaller pre-wedding shoot gallery than normal due to factors outside our control, we had a superb morning for it though, one of the best days on Wells beach yet this year, hardly a breath of wind and warm sunshine, not bad for October. Fingers crossed we’ll get something similar tomorrow!

It was a very windy day for Rebecca & Stephen’s wedding at the weekend, they were married at the wonderful St. Peter Mancroft church in Norwich city centre (opposite the Forum), unfortunately there’s a huge amount of scaffolding on the outside of the church at the moment so we weren’t able to fully utilise the great architecture but it was so windy I don’t think anyone was too sorry not to go outside!

Off to Caistor Hall for Brett & Wendy’s wedding at the weekend. Wendy and the girls were preparing at Dunston Hall so I stopped off there first to get some shots of them getting ready.
Wendy had a lucky sixpence glued to the underside of her shoe.
Just as I was walking with Brett & Wendy to get in position for their receiving line Brett thought he heard a tinkling sound behind them, we went back and sure enough the lucky sixpence was lying there, lucky Brett’s got good hearing!
Below, I love Wendy’s expression and the warm colours in this shot!
Below, as the bridesmaids pick confetti off Wendy, Wendy picks confetti off Brett. Is it just me or does this shot remind you of a program David Attenborough once presented where some highly intelligent creatures not too far removed from ourselves are grooming each other?!
Below, Wendy’s reaction to one of the stories in Brett’s speech.
Below, looks like someone’s ready for bed!
Brett & Wendy have asked that I don’t make the full gallery accessible until their return from honeymoon on Oct 15th but you can still click here to get to the gallery page and enter your email address which will ensure you are alerted as soon as the gallery is opened!
