In my ongoing bid to constantly evolve and improve as a photographer I recently attended a workshop by an American photographer called David Beckstead who was recently voted one of the top ten photographers in the world.
Earlier this year I hosted a workshop by the legendary Australian photographer David A. Williams who specialises in beautiful, warm, emotional images. The other David (David Beckstead) takes a completely different kind of image with an experimental approach to photography so I thought it would be a great combination and another discipline to add to my ’skill-set’.
The type of imagery David Beckstead taught us to produce last week is great for a small percentage of shots in a wedding album but don’t worry I will still be capturing the warm, emotional shots too, and maybe throwing in a few of these artistic, alternative shots too to spice things up!
