Voting now closed for wedding image of the year

The chance to vote for your wedding of the year has now passed - any votes received after 11:59pm 29.01.10 will not be counted.   On Monday I will be removing duplicate votes and adding up the totals - results will be posted here as soon as I have them all tallied up!

Art Exhibition in aid of the RNLI…

Nice surprise to see the below in today’s Eastern Daily Press (well, not a massive surprise obviously as I did the interview and submitted the photos but I didn’t know it was going to be in there today!).

I was most impressed that Richard Batson had managed to construct some sensible sentences from my incoherent rambling in our telephone interview - the sign of a great reporter!

The Party Booth at Voewood

I had the pleasure of photographing a party at Voewood this weekend so I took along what will henceforth be known as ‘The Party Booth’.

The party was being held by Indra (the ‘Duchess of Voewood’) for a very special birthday (I won’t reveal what year you were celebrarting Indra don’t worry!), the theme was Glitter and Glam and everyone threw themselves into the theme with style!

Here’s some shots from the night with a link to the full gallery at the bottom of this blog post….

Full gallery of shots here.   If you would like to have ‘The Party Booth’ at your next party please contact Chris for a quote.

Best wedding images of 2009 - vote now!

Below are fifteen of my favourite wedding images from 2009, each is from a different wedding, it was a nightmare trying to pick just fifteen out of the 15,000 or so wedding images I shot last year so apologies if your wedding photo hasn’t made it here.

Please leave a vote for your favourite image out of these fifteen in the comments section of this blog post, the top three images with the most votes by January 29th will receive prizes!

1st prize is a print credit worth £50, second prize £30, third prize £20 - the print credits can be used to get free prints from your wedding or you can give them to friends to put towards their own wedding/portrait photos.

Rules:  only one vote per email address, anyone can vote so tell your friends!  (don’t worry if your votes don’t show immediately, I have to approve comments to keep the spam down, all votes will show within (at most) 12 hours of your comment being added).

…the snow must go on

In keeping with the weather, the news and probably every single conversation in Britain at the moment here’s some photos of the snow!  We haven’t had much here at the coast and when we do it melts pretty quickly thanks to the pesky sea air so you have to be quick to get any shots of it.  I took a wander along the sea front and cliffs this morning, a couple of times the sun poked through the clouds and gave us some lovely golden light….
