Helen & Olly - a pre-wedding shoot at Felbrigg

Off to Felbrigg Hall for a pre-wedding shoot with Helen and Olly.  We took a wander about the grounds by the hall and then headed away for the hollow tree which made for some interesting shots.

Iain & Anita - a wedding at Yaxley Hall

The second of the weekend’s weddings, this time at the beautiful Yaxley Hall in Suffolk.

Iain and Anita both got ready at the hall in separate rooms and did a fine job of making sure they didn’t bump into each other before the ceremony!

Sheringham Carnival - NOT the offical photographer!

Just thought I’d post a quick note regarding Sheringham Carnival this year - I am not going to be photographing the carnival this year as I have a wedding to photograph on Carnival day - yes, a Wednesday wedding!

I’m explaining this so that people don’t think (like my father-in-law) that I’m not doing it as they haven’t asked me to this year!  I was asked late last year if I would do it again but had to decline as I had the wedding booking.  I am pleased to say that the Carnival photography this year is in the very capable hands of Karen Bethell - many people will know Karen as a reporter and photographer for the North Norfolk News.

This year I am looking forward to enjoying some of the carnival events with my family and wish Karen the best of luck for a busy week, fingers crossed for decent weather!

The Fishers - an 80th birthday celebration

The Fowles Family - a shoot at Wells

The Fowles family won a competition I recently ran in some local papers for a lifestyle portrait shoot, they opted to have the shoot on Wells beach although the first scheduled shoot was postponed due to dodgy weather and it wasn’t a great deal better on Friday evening but we went ahead.  The moody skies actually look pretty good in some of the shots!
