Amber & Peter tie the knot

Just a quick posting today as I’m halfway out the door to the next wedding (photographing three this weekend), below are a sample of the shots from Amber and Peter’s wedding yesterday - they were married at Voewood and went onto a reception at the Michelin starred Morston Hall, now that’s style!

Pre-wedding shoot with Leigh-Ellen and David

It was pretty much non-stop drizzle yesterday for Leigh-Ellen and David’s pre-wedding shoot in Blakeney. We found some shelter in the historic guildhall initially and then headed to the White Horse Inn for some more shots before braving the dampness and heading down to the quayside.

Apologies for the slightly surreal look to your shot below David - I’m playing about with a new technique, for the occassional shot I think it’s quite effective, gives a slight graphical look to the image, although it can make people look a bit plastic too! But I like it so there.

Break Flower Extravaganza

Went off to Taverham Hall School yesterday to get some shots of the opening of the Flower Extravaganza there in aid of the care charity - Break. Some stunning arrangements. The show runs from 29-31 May 10-5 (4pm Sat).

Margaret & Trevor tie the knot

Not far to travel yesterday for Margaret and Trevor’s wedding blessing at Glandford Church with a reception at the stunning Cley Mill.

The shot below shows the vicar awaiting Margaret’s arrival.  Here’s an interesting fact for you - the gown he is wearing was worn by the Dean of St. Paul’s cathedral while he conducted the wedding of Prince Charles and Diana.  Bet you could get a few quid on ebay for that!

Margaret’s dog Holly (below) didn’t seem very interested in the service.

Margaret, Trevor and Cley Mill reflected in the headlamp chrome of their wedding car.

They had a wedding cake made in perfect replica of the Mill - complete with a mini Margaret, Trevor and Holly on the balcony!

Trevor’s sons Joe and James took me up to the very top most balcony of the Mill, amazing views of Cley village and the marshes from up there, below shot is Joe, the one below that is James.

Below, Joe takes in some wise words.

Loads of very steep ladders and steps to get into the various rooms of the Mill, it must be great to stay there - the lads had the top room which required negotiation of some vertical ladders to get into, not one to attempt after too many cans of shandy!

Although you can hardly make them out in the shot below, Trevor and Margaret are actually in this shot - they are the two darker pixels on the right hand side of the balcony.

Norfolk Mini Owners Club

A rather soggy day today for the Norfolk Mini Owners Club meet at Fakenham Racecourse, it was a real shame as the guys had got their cars all polished up beautifully. I did some mock-up magazine cover prints along a similar line to the golf ones mentioned in a previous post.

Many thanks to Terry, my glamorous assistant today, for some top notch umbrella and flash holding!
